The PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty is both for those who have never taken underwater photos before and for those who have their own underwater cameras, but who want to improve their underwater photography skills.

Digital underwater photography has been a revolution, making it much easier to take beautiful underwater photos, so everyone can learn this!

In two dives and two theory sessions you will learn about:

Digital underwater photography equipment

• How to prepare an underwater camera
• Maintenance and care 
• Different types of available equipment

Taking quality photos

• Appropriate underwater camera settings
• Underwater photo techniques
• Downloading and editing photos

Minimum age

• 10 years old

Diving Certification and Experience

• PADI  (Junior) Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Good buoyancy control

Underwater Photographer Equipment

Required:

• Standard set of diving equipment
• Dive computer
• Compass
• Underwater camera
