About Dive2gether

Our young, international team consists of:

• PADI diving professionals
• front desk sales, planning and administration
• back office administration and marketing
• human resources and management
• marine biologists

Our mission

Quality and teamwork had a once small family-run diving school grow into the largest and best organised diving school in the Mediterranean, issuing over 1000 certifications per season. Through our Marine Field Station we do research, train marine biologists and are a strong force in the development of local eco-tourism and future conservation projects. In order to improve the quality and cooperation within the local diving market we organise professional diver training events and redistribute training materials. We are a market leader on flipflops!

If you are studying Tourism, Marketing, Event Management or Business Administration then we have an amazing opportunity for you! Our internships can be adapted to the requirements of your university. We are Erasmus+ registered and an SBB certified vocational learning company.

Diving

• Fitting and organisation of diving equipment.
• Planning and logistics.
   

Sales

• Sales of diving-related retail products.
• Sales of diving and snorkelling courses and activities.
• Sales techniques in person and online.
   

Communication

• Direct customer service.
• Email and phone contact with guests.
• Intra-team communication.
• Social contact with guests.

Marketing

• Creating brochures/flyers/posters for Dive2gether’s activities.
• Making and sorting promotional material: photos and films.
• Posts on social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• Improving website.
• Writing and improving texts for the website and/or blog.
• Understanding Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and implementing them.
  
  

Administration & Management

• Accounting and the processing of income and expenses.
• Administrating the daily activities.
• Receiving payments and administrating the cash register.
• Assisting in planning and organising the program of the week.
• Using specialised software for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Point of Sale. (POS)
• Placing and administering holiday bookings for our guests.

Events

• Organising and advertising beach clean-ups.
• Organising and setting up informative presentations.

Sustainability

• Looking into ways of improving eco-friendliness of diving school.
• Writing about the Marine Field Station’s activities.
• Doing research on sustainability and potential environmental activities.

Internship duration:

• The standard internship period we offer is a minimum of 15 weeks 
• This internship is unpaid.

Instead, we offer our interns:

• Free PADI diving education. (excluding certification costs and study materials)
• Training and experience in several fields.
• Possible projects for Bachelor's and/or Master's theses.
• Good quality shared accommodation.
• Airport transfers.
• and...  SUN, SEA, and a GREAT team atmosphere.

The best interns will get a chance to work as a paid member of our team following the successful completion of their internship!
