NIGHT ADVENTURE
WHAT IS A "NIGHT ADVENTURE" AND WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
PADI’s Night Adventure experience is an established program for certified divers who have never done a night dive before but would like to learn how to plan and conduct a night dive.
This training dive will give you the opportunity to see the underwater world in a whole new way, encounter different animals than you would during the day and experience the ethereal beauty and calm that comes from diving at night, all while learning how to night dive safely.

Everyone who is a certified Open Water Diver (or similar/higher) and medically fit can join the Night Adventure. If you haven't dived with us before, we do require you join us on a dive during the day first so we can assess your skill level.​​​
HOW DOES A NIGHT ADVENTURE WORK?
You will receive study materials to prepare in advance. In the evening we meet at the dive school and drive to the dive site together.

Your instructor will give you a detailed briefing about the considerations and procedures that are important for night diving and you will have a chance to ask any questions you might have.

​During your dive, your instructor will ask you to complete some simple exercises that have been explained during the briefing.
​
Back at the dive school you will get a debriefing from your instructor and look at the pictures from your dive over a stack of traditional Dutch pancakes.
WHAT'S NEXT?
After completing your Night Adventure, you have multiple options. Since you are now trained to night dive you can join night dives without an instructor's supervision (of course you still need a buddy with at least the same level of training).

If you haven't obtained the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, all you need to do is join four more adventure dives to become an Advanced Open Water Diver.​
​
Your Night Adventure also counts towards the PADI Night Diver specialty. With just two more night dives with your instructor you can become a knowledgeable night dive specialist. ​
