INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Our personalised IDC package is delivered with an individual curriculum taught in your own language. Over the course of 2 weeks, you will qualify as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, PADI Specialty Instructor, and EFR Instructor.

MEET THE STAFF

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Course Director and EFR Instructor Trainer, Balazs Doczy, and his team of personally trained IDC Staff Instructors will provide you with an Instructor Development Course and Emergency First Responder (EFR) Instructor Course in your preferred language of either English, Dutch, German or Hungarian - setting you up for a fantastic career in diving.


Not only will you be receiving the benefit of a brilliant IDC but, included in your package, you will also receive:

  • 2 Specialty Instructor ratings.

  • The EFR Instructor Course.

  • Free tuition in your language from our Staff Instructors before you arrive at Dive2gether Crete.​

Prerequisites

​

To sign up for the PADI IDC you must:

​

  • Be an active PADI Divemaster (or equivalent).

  • Have logged at least 60 dives.

  • Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months.

  • Have a current medical statement attesting to your diving fitness signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

  • Be an Emergency First Responder or equivalent.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

To continue and participate in the PADI Instructor Exam you must:

​

  • Have logged at least 100 dives.

  • Have completed a PADI IDC successfully.

  • Have completed an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor course successfully.
