SCUBA DIVING
INTRODUCTION DIVES
The world's most popular diving programme; discover scuba diving in the pool-like conditions of our beautiful shallow beaches, surrounded by marine life as soon as you take your first breath underwater. You will receive private attention with an experienced instructor in your own language, ready to help you fall in love with diving. Continue for another round in the afternoon, or choose to start on your first certification!
BEACH DIVING
Enjoy that holiday feeling on the beautiful sandy beaches of Southern Crete, diving through big rocky gorges and over lush seagrass meadows. Bring your non-diving friends along and discover traditional Cretan specialties in the tavernas over lunch.
We dive in small groups, maximum 6 divers per guide, and plan groups based on experience to give you the best possible day of diving.
BOAT DIVING*
Join us aboard our very own Philomena, a custom-built diving boat, to gain access to our sixteen private mooring sites and explore untouched dramatic drop-offs or shallow reefs.
Lunch and drinks on board are included, so spend your surface interval lying out on our deck enjoying some fresh fruit and hot brewed coffee.
Non-diving passengers welcome when space allows.

NIGHT DIVING
Spotted an octopus hiding in his den during the day? See our incredible cephalopod friends out and about during our shore night dives, along with moray eels, tiny shrimps, and more amazing nocturnal life.
Feel secure in small groups with experienced guides and instructors, and a team of vigilant coastguards supervising from land.
Non-diving friends can join for guided snorkeling and share in the experience.

MARINE BIOLOGY ACTIVITIES
Our MareMundi Field Station is dedicated to continued research and education - and you can be part of it! With no scientific background needed, you can join one of our highly qualified marine biologists for a day of two introductory research dives, followed by a lab session in the afternoon. Learn about the unique ecosystems beneath the surface of the Mediterranean, and some of the threats they are facing. Plant your own seagrass fragments to contribute to our restoration projects, take sand samples and learn about the benthos, or spend a day on the boat learning about zooplankton and our hidden sessile life.
